The first lot of high quality RRR 300 Niobium sheets for the production of the Medium Beta Superconducting Cavities for the ESS Linac have been delivered Jan 19 to the Ettore Zanon SpA. The sheets, produced by OTIC, have been scanned for foreign materials and geometrical defects at DESY before their delivery to the Company. The second of the three lots is expected to be delivered by end of March 2018.
