The full ESS linac is now in commissioning phase and soon the beam (with reduced parameters) will be brought to the high energy dump.
The Medium Beta Section, LASA In-Kind contribution, is now cold, up and waiting for beam.
The actual RF pulse is only 500 us long (300 us filling and 200 us top) as required for the Beam on Dump operation. The proton beam has been already transported through the LEBT and, soon, it will pass also the RFQ section. Then, the beam will be steered through the DTLs and then through the cold Linac Section.
